She Hides Her World

She hides her world inside her printed shirts and bag;
Every detail, every line is a different story
Every color, every shade is a different memory
Every pocket, every lock is a different tag.

She hides her world inside her modest notebook;
Every letter, every word is a different face
Every page, every chapter is a different race
Every erasure, every mark adds a different look.

She hides her world inside the music records she keeps;
Every lyric, every melody is a different feeling
Every song, every album is a different way of living (or dying)
Every playlist, every round marks different steps and leaps.

She hides her world in the littlest things,
She hides her world in the things unnoticeable.
She hides her world in the things easily missed,
She hides her world in the things hardly remembered.
